Adventures on Mondo
Adventures on Mondo is a 4 color screen print on heat resistant non-woven fabric, also known as a pellon. The ink is plastisol and was cured with heat, exactly like a shirt.
I went with the "misheard" theme. I imagined that the name and details of this event were translated across many languages throughout the universe. For those making the interstellar journey, the border includes a rough map of the solar system, emphasizing the orbit of the chosen destination. This is a short run of 40 prints. The fabric is 12.5 x 14 and frames out to 14 x 16. The print can be rolled, stored, or framed just like paper. Prints are $25 shipped, which includes the tube and priority shipping. |

"Relationships between Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Mean are frequently found when analyzing the structure of compositions and musical patterns dating back several centuries. For example, the climax of many songs or even an important measure where the song changes significantly such as the bridge often occurs near the songs Phi point. As we mentioned earlier, Phi is the basis for the Golden Ratio, Section or Mean.
The Phi point can be determined by taking the number of measures of a song and multiplying them by 0.618. More often than not the result will mark the beginning of a measure where a significant change occurs. " - http://blog.dubspot.com/fibonacci-sequence-in-music/ |
